More Fading Film News
I have to leave for school in a minute, but I just wanted to link to this article on the decline of traditional film. More later.

There is no doubt that the digital revolution is here. And what's more many movies shot on digital actually look like film - check out a film like Sex & Lucia.
On one hand this sort of sucks because film is just so damn cool. But on the other hand it's great that so many people now have access to this tecnology and can make movies.

Matt, you're absolutely right. I have an appreciation of film, but digital filmmaking can now look very impressive. "Sex and Lucia" is one good example of that. I'd also agree that digital does allow a greater diversity of "voices" to be heard. Until the availability of digital, making a documentary never would have crossed my mind--now at least I could consider it.
I never really developed my comments on the "Wired" article, but after reading it closely, I'm not sure I had much to add.
