MLA Blogger MeetUp
I've been spending the last few days preparing for MLA hence the relative blog silence recently, but just wanted to mention again G's suggestion that academic bloggers get together at the MLA. By the way, do we have a time and place staked out yet?
Things may be quiet around here until after MLA, so if I don't post any more messages, I'll wish everyone a happy holiday, including those of you who celebrate Festivus. And, like G, I'll encourage you to check out Vic Chesnutt's "White Christmas."

Those of us who stayed in our cozy burrows this year are looking forward to some MLA blogging! Hope you're enjoying the conference.

Excellent. And good luck with all those interviews! I'm hoping to find an account of Toni Morrison's address yesterday on the future of the humanities. I was IMing yesterday with a friend who was on her way to the presentation, but she hasn't posted anything since.

So my previous comment got lost in the shuffle, but basically it was a quick comment to say that I was away from the blog throughout the conference (and busy interviewing). I've just returned to Atlanta and maybe I'll have a post-MLA wrap-up later.
