Maybe I've Been Asleep for a While...
...but when did Amazon start tracking blogs? It's weird to see a screenshot of my old template, but it's also interesting to see their "recommendations," i.e., people who visit my website might also enjoy Liz Lawley, Unfogged, Culture Cat, and Arts and Letters Daily. At least I'm in good company.

GOodness. They seem to have used the Alexa data for this - but how did you GET to this search result? I can't work out how to get there?

I found it by accident while doing a vanity Google search. I tried searching inside Amazon for other familiar blogs and couldn't find others, so I'm not quit sure *how* you'd find blogs using their search engine.
Really weird.

Use the A9 search engine, and then click "site info". You will then be redirected to the Amazon page containing the Alexa data.

McChris, thanks for the background. That makes a lot more sense now. I just stumbled into it, but Titus's explanation of how to get there works well. I'm also still intrigued by the "recommendations" they've made for readers of my blog. It would seem like more of my most frequent reads would have shown up as recommendations...

remember alexa.com? do you know who bought them? it was amazon. that is what you are seeing and they do it for lots of pages.... many more than blogs.
