Ted Leo at the Earl

Just finished a draft of my Capturing the Friedmans paper, so to celebrate, I'm going to see Ted Leo (Lookout Records) in concert this evening at the Earl.

From there, I'll be able to focus primarily on job applications for the next two weeks before I go on my personal US tour. Here's my current itinerary:

With all of those plane trips, I'm sure I'll have the opportunity to make lots of single-serving friends.

LOL, "single-serving friends."

How's clever working out for you?

Better now that I'm sure at least one person caught the reference.

Two. I just rolled over the link to make sure it was linking to what I thought it was.

As far as Raleigh goes, I can likely dig up some restaurant recommendations if you'd like. I lived there on weekends for about a year a few years ago and still know folks up thataway.

The conference looks to be pretty organized, but any suggestions would be cool. Thanks for the offer.

By the way, the show was very cool. The band had a very full sound. Not really good at describing live music, so I'll leave it at that.

Ok, I admit I didn't get the reference but yay finished draft and the US tour sounds fun...

Yeah, should be lots of fun. I know lots of people at all three conferences. Unfortunately, I'll only have about one afternoon actually in NYC, but hoping to hit a nice museum and resturant....
