Watery Eye
Via Cinema Minima, a new lens that can "mimic the way the human eye focuses." The lens uses water/fluid pressure to regulate the focal length of a lens, more closely simulating the ways in which the human eye focuses. Ratchet Up has the full story.

Actually I'd always hoped they would be able to see like the cyborgs from Terminator 2--all the digitized readouts, the night vision stuff. To be honest, I didn't even think about that kind of application....

What about a combination? Terminators that have visual digital readouts, but with human eyesight, which, if a male, means they will be so distracted from their mission by constantly being drawn to women's breasts, thus making them too easy to defeat. "Daisy, Daisy, give me your answer true... What are you doing, Da..(girl passes by)... wait, what was I saying?
